Get twice the business opportunities from just the one product with the MOT, ATL and wheel alignment options provided by the Hofmann dual revenue four-post lift.
More and more workshops are offering wheel alignment alongside their current services so with that in mind the new lift has been manufactured to incorporate alignment capability, along with configurations for MOT and ATL operation.
One of the key components of the lift, which is available in both standard MOT or Automated Test Lane (ATL) options, is the wirelessly-operated steering and joint play detector, giving test technicians more flexibility when it comes to performing the steering and suspension inspection.
It has integrated rear slip plates as standard and added to those innovations are safety-focused features including an audible alarm if the lift goes out of level, pre-stretched cables which are designed to minimise post-installation maintenance, and a pipe/cable track to reduce wear failures.
The integrated suspension and steering joint play detectors (in the ATL version) are made to the highest of specifications using heavy-gauge steel and exceed all class IV and VII DVSA specifications.
They have a coated finish similar to a road surface, which gives superior grip on the tyre to offer maximum movement during testing.
The lift can be installed as recessed, drive-on reverse-off, drive-through and surface-mounted. The standard configuration is recessed, drive-on reverse-off. Other configurations require optional kits to be ordered.
AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS
Class IV, 4000KG 4 post car lift with a 5.2m platform length, and is available in the following configurations:
- MOT/Alignment – front turning plates and built-in rear slip plates
- ATL/Alignment – as per MOT lift above but also includes the SPD 2000 DVSA-approved axle play detector
- Alignment – alignment table, similar to MOT lift above, not supplied with turn plates but does have space to fit 470mm precision turning plates
Class VII, 5000KG 4 post car lift with a 5.7m platform length, and is available in the following configurations:
- MOT/Alignment – front turning plates and built-in rear slip plates
- ATL/Alignment – as per MOT lift above but also includes the SPD 2000 DVSA-approved axle play detector
- Alignment – alignment table, similar to MOT lift above, not supplied with turn plates but does have space to fit 470mm precision turning plates
Advanced safety and audible safety alert: The electrical safety locking provides a failsafe system with an audible safety alert on descent
Rear slip plates: Integrated rear slip plates with high quality finish platform allowing for dual usage when carrying out wheel alignment
Elephant trunking: Elephant trunking is provided as standard to help keep pipes and hoses tidy
Play detectors (ATL only): Our play detectors are more likely to find faults than any other on the market as they accentuate any wear in steering components
Wireless torch/controller (ATL only): Integral inspection lamp incorporating buttons for play detector operation
Optional jacking beam: A jacking beam is also an available option for this model
